Founder’s Introduction

Abdikarim Jimale

I was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, and raised in Canada. As a Black Muslim professional, I bring a lived understanding of navigating identity, personal growth, and systemic challenges. My journey in social work and coaching is deeply rooted in a passion for empowering youth to thrive — emotionally, spiritually, and culturally.

I’m currently completing my Master of Social Work and have spent my career supporting young people through life transitions, identity work, and healing. At Sakina Holistic Practice, I integrate lived experience, professional expertise, and Islamic values to create a safe, grounded space for self-discovery and growth.

Our Mission

Sakina Holistic Practice empowers individuals from all walks of life to cultivate their inner strengths, overcome obstacles, and live authentically fulfilled lives through accessible, compassionate, and personalized coaching services — all integrated with Islamic principles to foster spiritual well-being and personal growth.

Our Vision

To create spiritually grounded spaces where youth and individuals can heal, grow, and thrive through culturally responsive coaching rooted in faith, purpose, and compassion.
